NCME Launches Endowment to Secure the Future of Measurement
By Andrew Ho, Past President
As I reflected this Thanksgiving, I remembered the strength and commitment of NCME members earlier this year. We rallied to support our fellow members and took concrete action to protect measurement data.
Inspired by this generosity, and by our shared interest in securing measurement integrity in perpetuity, the NCME Board voted last month to create the NCME Endowment: The Fund for Measurement Excellence and Integrity (the NCME Endowment, or FMEI). I am asking for your support to help us reach an initial goal of $100,000 by the end of this year, December 31, 2025.
Every dollar you give by December 31, 2025, will be matched, up to $40,000, thanks to a pledge by anonymous Past Presidents. Your gift will be doubled!
Thanks to the generosity of Past Presidents and community members earlier this year, we have already raised $25,000 toward this goal. Your gift of any size ($25, $100, $250, or more) will be matched and help secure NCME’s future.
Why give to the NCME Endowment?
- Lasting Impact: Your gift will support measurement scholarship, practice, and talent development in perpetuity.
- Secure Legacy: Your name (or who you dedicate your gift to) will be linked with NCME’s enduring story and ongoing progress.
- Join Fellow Leaders: NCME’s Board of Directors and community of Past Presidents have seeded the NCME Endowment. Join us in securing NCME’s future.
Please join me, your Board, and NCME leaders—past, present, and future—to establish this legacy.
