How to Register

Registration takes place through re:Members, AERA’s association management system. All attendees—members and non-members—must log in or create a re:Members Account. If you are an NCME member accessing the re:Members platform for the first time, please use your NCME-affiliated email address to create an account to ensure access to the appropriate registration rates.

Membership and Rates

To receive the discounted NCME member registration rate, your membership must be current through 2026.

  • If your membership expired on December 31, 2025, be sure to renew for 2026 before registering in order to be eligible for the discounted membership rate.
  • Refunds or rate adjustments will not be provided if you register as a non-member and later join NCME.

Registration Steps

  1. Create/log in to your re:Members account. Please use your NCME-affiliated email address to create an account to ensure access to the appropriate registration rates.
  2. If needed, join or renew your AERA and/or NCME membership. The membership transaction must be completed before registering at the discounted member registration rate.
  3. From the left navigation column, click on “Home” to view your account. Please review and update your information under the Overview, Account, and Organizations tabs. For the Organization tab, if your current organization/institution is not listed, please use “Link Me to an Organization” to create a link.
  4. From the left navigation column, click on “Events” and choose the “Upcoming Events” option.
  5. To register for the 2026 Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, choose that option by clicking “More Details” for a list of additional ticketed events available for registration or “Register to Attend” and follow the registration process by answering required questions. You will be able to indicate your interests in childcare and/or accessibility needs. You will be prompted to add optional events to your registration (e.g. Professional Development Courses, Awards Luncheon, etc.) if desired.
  6. The applicable registration option(s) and selected ticketed events will be available for your review in your Shopping Cart before you check out. Note: AERA uses your email address to verify NCME membership. Those who have different emails on file with NCME and AERA may not be identified as members in the AERA system. Please contact AERA registration support (registration@aera.net or (202) 238-3200, option 3) to assist in verifying membership in their system to unlock the appropriate rates.
  7. Prior to Checking out, review and accept the terms and conditions.
  8. Submit payment.
