About AIME-Con

The Artificial Intelligence in Measurement and Education Conference (AIME-Con) is a premier gathering designed to bring together an interdisciplinary community of experts working at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI), educational measurement, assessment, natural language processing, learning analytics, and technological development. As AI continues to transform education and assessment practices, this conference will provide a critical platform for fostering cross-disciplinary dialogue, sharing cutting-edge research, and exploring the technical, ethical, and practical implications of AI-driven innovations in measurement and education.

A key objective of the AIME-Con is to facilitate learning and collaboration across diverse fields. The rapid integration of AI in educational tools has created a pressing need for experts across a wide range of fields to engage in meaningful discussions about best practices, challenges, and opportunities in AI-enhanced assessment and instruction. Attendees will gain insights into the application of AI in such areas as:

  • Formative feedback and personalized learning
  • AI-driven scoring and item generation
  • Explainability and transparency in AI-based measurement
  • Ethical considerations such as data privacy and bias mitigation
  • The role of AI in shaping educational policies and best practices

By bringing together experts from these varied domains, the conference will foster a rich exchange of knowledge that enhances the collective understanding of AI’s impact on educational measurement and evaluation.

The AIME-Con offers educational measurement professionals and researchers an opportunity to deepen their knowledge of AI applications and stay at the forefront of emerging methodologies in education, assessment, and measurement. Data scientists, NLP and AI researchers and developers will gain valuable insights into creating responsible and effective AI-driven tools that support teaching and learning. State and local education policymakers will gain knowledge to make informed decisions about AI adoption in schools and assessment programs. Educators and instructional designers will discover how AI can enhance personalized learning and formative assessment practices while maintaining ethical and pedagogical integrity.

In addition to an engaging lineup of keynote speakers, paper and poster presentations, coordinated sessions and panels, and hands-on training sessions, the conference will offer both formal and informal networking opportunities. Attendees can connect and collaborate during interdisciplinary sessions and an evening poster session with food and drinks to provide a relaxed environment for discussion and idea exchange. Additionally, the exhibitor hall will feature industry leaders showcasing the latest AI-driven educational technologies. These opportunities will enable participants to build meaningful professional relationships and explore new collaborations that extend beyond the conference.

By creating a dynamic space for knowledge sharing and networking, the AIME-Con aims to drive innovation and shape the future of AI in educational measurement and assessment.
