DESCRIPTION:This is presented by the Committee on Informing Assessment Policy. \n\n\n\nNCME’ Committee on Informing Assessment Policy is pleased to co-host a virtual feedback session with the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO)\, led by Ben Erwin\, CCSSO’s Director of Assessment and Accountability. CCSSO has been working with state assessment directors\, national experts\, and the U.S. Department of Education to explore key considerations for updating the current assessment peer review guidance. As part of this effort\, CCSSO is partnering with the Center for Assessment and NCME to facilitate a series of conversations across the field. \n\n\n\nThis session is designed specifically for NCME members. It is an opportunity to share your experiences with the peer review process and to offer input on the recommendations for change that CCSSO is currently drafting. Whether you have supported states through peer review\, served as a reviewer\, worked on the technical documentation behind a submission\, or studied the process from a research perspective\, your insights will help shape guidance that affects assessment systems nationwide.
